Dues
Kiwanis International upped their dues fees $25 for the upcoming year. Added to that was mailing fees and liability insurance for all clubs. The district chose to not raise their dues so we are safe there, for now. In order to cover their charges and our own operating expenses, we have raise the dues the same $25 we are being assesed.
Thes was discussed at our last meeting, and we know that this may create a hardship for some members. We have good people in this organization and we don’t want these expenses to cause a loss of membership.
In addition to Full membership, we will be taking dues for “Associate Members” at a rate of $25. Annually. What this means, if you choose to go that route is defined below:
Full Membership: Your membership will be filed with our annual roaster with Kiwanis International. You will get all the usual mailings from International that you have usually received. You will have full rights to ALL the benefits of the club.
Associate membership: You will have all the privileges given members.
Exceptions:
You will not be included on the International Roster.
You will not have voting rights on club affairs
You will not be able to serve as an officer or board member of the club.

International deadline for reporting membership is October 15th. Any members not paid will be dropped from the roster, however, if paid at a later date, will be reinstated.

at MARSHFIELD FAIRGROUNDS
This year we have invited our local Boy Scout troop to join us.
They will be selling wreaths and garland to Support Scout Programs. They will be selling wreaths and garland to Support Scout Programs.
Kiwanis Holiday Schedule
Friday, November 24th: Opening day at the tree lot. Let the Holiday games begin.
Kiwanis , again will have top quality trees available.
Prices will stay at last years prices.
We will be selling 6 to 8 footers, 8 to 10 footers, and we will have about a dozen 10 to 12 foot Goliath trees available this year also.
Every penny of profit of these trees will go to local Kiwanis charities, beginning with our annual donation to Marshfield Community Christmas.
Saturday, December 16th: Kiwanis will be hosting its Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Party. An annual event dating back 39 years.
We thank all of those who support this and our other functions. Without your support, Marshfield could not do what is has done in Marshfield for the last 85 years.
