Dues

Kiwanis International upped their dues fees $25 for the upcoming year. Added to that was mailing fees and liability insurance for all clubs. The district chose to not raise their dues so we are safe there, for now. In order to cover their charges and our own operating expenses, we have raise the dues the same $25 we are being assesed.

Thes was discussed at our last meeting, and we know that this may create a hardship for some members. We have good people in this organization and we don’t want these expenses to cause a loss of membership.

In addition to Full membership, we will be taking dues for “Associate Members” at a rate of $25. Annually. What this means, if you choose to go that route is defined below:

Full Membership: Your membership will be filed with our annual roaster with Kiwanis International. You will get all the usual mailings from International that you have usually received. You will have full rights to ALL the benefits of the club.

Associate membership: You will have all the privileges given members.

Exceptions:

You will not be included on the International Roster.

You will not have voting rights on club affairs

You will not be able to serve as an officer or board member of the club.

International deadline for reporting membership is October 15th. Any members not paid will be dropped from the roster, however, if paid at a later date, will be reinstated.
